1. Ibiza Town

Ibiza Town

To fully appreciate Ibiza Town why not walk the old streets around midnight. The old walled city of Dalt Vila (meaning ‘High Town’) is all lit up like something out of a fairy tale. It is truly one of the most captivating experiences the island of Ibiza has to offer. The Dalt Vila is perched above the Old Town and is surrounded by an ancient walled fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to 4th century BC.

Take a seat and watch in fascination as all the super clubs from Pacha to Amnesia send out their entourages into the town handing out flyers in the hope of getting you into their club. Back in 2002 on my visit to Ibiza I was simply mesmerised on catching a glimpse or two of the ‘beautiful people’ as they trouped by.

Then why not head up into Dalt Vila which has some of the best restaurants on the island and in a picturesque setting are along tiny cobbled streets.
